Be a part of the 10th Annual Hillsborough River Holiday Boat Parade. A celebration of living in a city on a tropical river, the Holiday Boat Parade is a community event organized by Friends of the River in which everyone is encouraged to take part.
Whether you have a power boat, canoe, kayak, jon boat - anything that floats - decorate your boat and join the fun.
If you don't know anyone with a boat, you can watch the parade from the river bank along Lowry Park up to its terminus at the Harbor Club at Nebraska Avenue. The Sulphur Springs park between I-275 & the city pool park has a nice long shoreline with plenty of convenient parking.
If you have a boat, and have room for additional passengers / crew members, please reply & let us know. Lots of people always tell us they'd love to be in the parade but don't know anybody with a boat.
We'll help you connect.
Charge your passengers whatever admission fee you feel is reasonable (i.e. a candy cane, gumdrops, box of chocolate covered cherries, etc.)
