What better way to spend Mother’s Day than to come listen to Sunset Bridge while treating your Mom to breakfast or lunch? Don’t forget to stop by the Adoption Booth located at the flag pole to meet and greet some hopeful future Seminole Heights residents of the four legged variety.
For the last market of the summer, we are honored to have Labrador Retriever Rescue of Florida (www.labradorrescue.net). Come visit their foster dogs, listen to their stories and get attached. Helping with rescue does not always mean adopting. Rescues depend on foster families, someone who can take a dog to the vet, help him or her recover from surgery or heartworm treatment in order to become adoptable. Helping a dog can be as simple as posting his/her picture and story at your office, or emailing it to friends for cross posting. Donations are always welcome and needed for vet bills and food.
Labor of Love cat rescue will be bringing kittens getting ready to love and entertain you. This cat rescue cannot turn down a dog in need either. You will get to meet Wallace, a 1 ½ year old lab mix abandoned at a park, emaciated, anemic, covered with mange and near death. Wallace has made a full recovery and has been fostered with a dog trainer so he is well behaved. He is fostered with and loves dogs, cats and even a rabbit! His before and after pictures are dramatic.

Don’t leave the Sunday Market without visiting The Adoption Booth. Every month will feature different rescues with the goal of having some small dogs, some big dogs and some cats to choose from. See you in October!
