Th
e April General Membership meeting was well-attended with TPD as our special guest. TPD spoke about how they can help with quality-of-life issues in the neighborhood and answered questions about crime.
The Seminole Heights Community Garden was a recipient of a $500 donation from a prior Home Tour. OSHNA has held the donation for them while they completed their organization under a 501(c)(3) and obtained a bank account. At this meeting, OSHNA proudly provided the check to the Garden representatives. They showcased their new meeting and water collection structure that the money will help build.
Dr Becky Zarger from USF represented one of her graduate students who is conducting a survey on water use. Neighbors in attendance were encouraged to participate. Look for more information on OSHNA's website in the near future.
