Hello,
My home was broken into on Monday, 3-29-10 On Caracas Street, not too far from Ella's. Around 11 am to 1 pm They got away with our PS3, gold jewelry, specifically two items with the name "Jeanette" on them, and a sony camcorder. If you remember seeing anything that day, please contact me. I want justice! My children are afraid, and I've never felt so violated.

The house was so neat, "they" or "him" went through our bedroom meticulously. He pushed drawers back, sorted through the costume jewelry to pick out just the gold. Upon further research, there has been a white male around 17 years old who may be connected to several other burglaries in the Seminole Heights area. They break in, take jewelry, game consoles and laptops. If you've had a similar experience please contact me. Also, we need to take a stand against these scummy low life pawn shop dealers. The pawn shop on Hillsborough and 12Th street are infamous for taking in stolen goods. I told the girl at the counter my story, and she just held up her hands, rolled her eyes and said "I can't give you no information. You gotta make a police report an then they search our stuff." I wanted to give her a slap for every person that has ever lost a family item that has priceless value and memories attached. She had absolutely no sympathy. The place is run by addicts as well, and that's a fact that I've known for years.
I would never wish this feeling on anyone else. I want to rage and cry and the same time. I also want action. There are more addicts out there and no money to go around to support their habit, so they turn to stealing. My neighbor across the street had his whole a.c unit taken. Every other house on my block has a story to tell.
