A group of residents lead by Clay Daniels from East Tampa are attending the August 6th City Council meeting in an attempt to change Tampa's noise ordinance to look more like St Petersburg's. The current ordinance makes it difficult for neighborhood watch and the police to reduce loud music coming from moving automobiles and homes. The changes would institute a series of warning letters sent by the city to inform property owners that a noise complaint was turned in.
If you are interested in championing this change to the ordinance, the group is meeting at Tampa City Council chambers at 9:30am on August 6th. Residents and business owners from East Tampa will be there to speak in favor of the changes.

Shawn,
Is there any way to contact Clay Daniels to get some more information about what will happen after the warning letters have been sent? (and other questions too)
Thank you!
Robin
