Lake Roberta's recent acquisition of a Tampa Bay Estuary Grant was neither luck nor happenstance. Of 40 applicants, Lake Roberta was one of 25 recipients, and one of the most notable. Along with the installation of the 'Water Goat', the Tampa Bay Estuary Grant will help fund the help of a 'Lake Doctor', who will help treat the lake for invasive species, such as duck weed, torpedo grass and algae for the next year. Special thanks should be extended to key members of the committee for their continued passion for restoring the lake to the 'Crown Jewel' of the entire neighborhood.
