Master Planning Committee Meeting Minutes, 10/15/2009:
A grant request to the Tampa Bay Estuary grant was recently completed and returned by the committee. The goal is to provide the Lake with additional devices and capacity to retain debris from the lake, as well as possibly additional plantings of native fish and species, with the purpose of keeping the lake clean and balanced.
Additionally, final ideas for a long term improvement plan were submitted. Drafting of an overall plan for review with the community forthcoming. Improvements include pedestrian safety and lake sanitation.
Fundraising ideas were discussed.
