To the General Membership:
It is with a great deal of sadness that the Board of Directors received the collective letter of resignation of Bill Duvall, Stuart Hess, and Sherry King as officers of OSHNA.
When the Association election took place this year it was our hope that we could work together to try to leave behind some of the discord and controversy that plagued us during the last year. The election controversy this year has, without doubt, preempted a new start for this year’s Board. We all knew that starting fresh was going to be difficult at best, particularly with the diverse positions of the Board members. Nevertheless, there was hope that, with the sincere efforts of each of us, we could work through any problems and begin a solid working relationship; a relationship focusing on what brought us together in agreement, not where we differed. Unfortunately, the precipitous resignation of these three Board members has precluded that hope.
As Vice President, I am now the presiding officer of the Association. In the ensuing weeks your Executive Board will begin the process of filling the vacated Board positions. I have spoken with each of the remaining officers and each is committed to maintaining individual balance and perspective in the face of these unexpected resignations. Be assured that your Board will continue to move the Association forward in service to our community.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Respectfully,
Evan St. Ives,
Vice President

Let's not also forget another board member that resigned weeks ago, Eric Krause, somehow this info hasn't been updated on our website and should have, just as this most recent event is being announced. That makes four now in case any of our members want to know the latest complete info regarding the make up of our board. Thank-you
