Has any one used the car repair shop across from Three Coins? I think they're named Fair Fix, or something similar.
My family is looking for a reliable mechanic in the neighborhood, for an older Jeep.
Thanks for the help.
Jo,
We have also used Richards at the I-275 South on-ramp and Hillsborough. They maintained our Ford Explorer until we gave it to our niece for school. He, IMO, is very honest and will give you options as to the repairs that need to be done - ie: keeping the car for a while longer, goning to get rid of it in the near future, etc. Can't beat the oil change prices and he is reasonable on repairs and as an added bonus I can drop the car and walk home from there.
Good luck
I've used the mechanic across from Starbucks. (Richards?) I had an 11 year old Dodge pickup and the work they did was well-priced and timely. I currently drive a Jeep myself, but it's still under warranty. If you do take yours to a local mechanic, I would be very interested to know if you were satisfied with their work.

I know it's a bit late for a quick responce. I have used KBK auto @ 8007 N Armenia Ave. Kevin and his wife Keri are great Christan people. They both are members of Seminole Presbyterian Church here in Seminole Heights. Kevin is a great mechanic and really knows his stuff. Most important to me is I know that I can trust him. You could probabley shop around and come up with better prices on some of the work he does. But you can't put a price on trust.
