New Neighborhood Pub

 In line with the announcement of a new pet supply and grooming store on Central and Hanna, there is also a new pub on Nebraska avenue across the street from the post office.  The building used to be called the "Seminole Lounge."  After being purchased and remodled, the business is now called the Mermaid Tavern.  They sell local Florida craft brew and have a decent wine list as well.  The night I went, they served a cheese platter with fruit jam and crackers.   This is a great place to hang out with friends, especially on the large deck out front.  The parking lot looks repaved and everything is clean and well-lit.
