Volunteers Needed!
for Old Seminole Heights
Paint Your Heart Out, Tampa! Team
Mayor Pam Iorio calls Paint Your Heart Out, Tampa! "...the best all-volunteer program that this community has ever had." And it is!
Paint Your Heart Out, Tampa! is a City-wide program that enables citizens, businesses, clubs, and organizations to lend a helping hand to low-income, elderly citizens in our community. This annual event helps improve the self-esteem of some very special homeowners and restores the appearance of Tampa's neighborhoods.
OSHNA is proud to have participated each and every year since 1989. We have always painted a house in our neighborhood. Past participants consistently remark that volunteering for this event provides a great feeling of giving something back to our community.
Old Seminole Heights has formed a Paint Your Heart Out team again this year. This year, we find that we are in need of more volunteer scrapers, painters and helpers for our team. We will be painting the house at 5803 N. Suwanee on Saturday, April 25th. Breakfast and lunch will be provided as well as a Paint Your Heart Out, Tampa! t-shirt. Anyone who can help is welcome. Bring your brushes, rollers, scrapers, tarps, etc. and join us.
If you cannot stay all day, please come and help as long as possible. The more people who volunteer, the sooner we finish.
If you can come or have any questions, please contact Susan Long at 857-4830 or swlong29@verizon.net.
