Article III Quorum
Section 1. General Membership Meetings: For the General Membership to conduct business, a simple majority of the Executive Board and an additional twenty percent or seventy-five (75) members, whichever is less, must be present. Motions may be passed by a majority vote of members present, except as provided in Article IX, Section 1, regarding bylaw amendments.
Section 2. Executive Board Meetings: For the Executive Board to conduct business, a simple majority of the Executive Board must be present. Motions may be passed by a majority vote of members present.
Section 3. Committee Meetings: Those present at any committee meeting shall constitute a quorum. |

[G] Using the word "email" makes sense today but may be a very short sighted verbiage for a document considered to be of such importance that it requires two readings over two meetings and a super majority (2/3 vote) for approval. In hopes of not making those changes on a regular basis, it might be better to refer to other voting methods such as electronic which is broad enough to encompass email and conference calls, etc.
I think this comment is about Article II, and it is a good suggestion. Changing the terminology is being considered.
