Rules on Yard Sales

Yard sales are a long-time neighborhood tradition.  We encourage posting yard sale announcements to the forums. The common-sense rules below apply to posting yard sale ads to the OSHNA website only.

1. The yard sale ad must only be for a single day or weekend.
2. The ad may contain a short list of items to gain interest (no more than 10); Please do not list your entire inventory.
3. The yard sale must be within the boundaries of Seminole Heights (not just Old Seminole Heights).  These boundaries are roughly the Hillsborough river to the West and North, 22nd street to the East, and Martin Luther King Blvd to the South.  Below Hillsborough Blvd, the Eastern Boundary changes from 22nd street to 15th street.
4. All yard sales must meet the legal requirements of the City of Tampa.

Do not forget that each Fall, OSHNA holds the Great Neighborhood Yard Sale.  If you are planning a sale in the Fall, it is worth waiting for this event and taking advantage of the advertising OSHNA will do on your behalf.
