Crime Awareness Committee

There are 14 Tampa Police Department (TPD) grids in Old Seminole Heights, some of these overlap with neighborhing civic associations. The goal of the Crime Awareness committee is to bridge the gap between all these various grids, supply support for their activities, and hopefully encourage a more active crime prevention community within Old Seminole Heights.

 The grid system is simply a means for TPD to divide up the city into manageable pieces for their own purposes.  The grids do not always coincide neatly with City of Tampa recognized boarders for civic associations like OSHNA.  Generally, there is a single neighborhood watch coordinator for each grid, although some have more than one.  Here is a list of TPD neighborhood watch grids.
