OSHNA encourages its members to get involved in city and county government, to express their opinions, and to petition their elected officials. As part of this effort, we pass on non-partisan messages such as this one where it can affect our members and neighbors. Anti-Prostitution Ordinance
On Thursday, December 1st at 9:00 a.m., an ordinance is going before Tampa City Council regarding prostitution and the seizing of the vehicles of those engaging with prostitutes. You can download and view the 5-page ordinance here.

SHBC: Hyde Park Village Ride and Art Show
Join the Seminole Heights Bicycle Club on a ride to Hyde Park village. The television program "Pedal America" will be following the ride. Afterward, there will be a bicycle art show.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay in collaboration with Hillsborough County Animal Services, the Community Foundation and the East Tampa Community Revitalization Partnership, are hosting a very special day for our four legged children on December 3rd by providing FREE shots for cats and dogs to anyone who lives in Hillsborough County. Details are attached. While you may not need animal services, someone in your community might. This cost saving event will be a tremendous help to folks who are struggling financially but want to keep their beloved pets healthy.
