OSHNA Elections 2011: Nominations

OHSNA elections are scheduled for our quarterly meeting on October 25, 2011. We are seeking nominations for officers and trustees: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 5 Trustees. These officers and trustees keep our neighborhood moving forward and help to organize and fund the events that we have come to count as special to Old Seminole Heights.

Eat, Drink, and be Neighborly!

OSHNA held its July "eating meeting" tonight at the Seminole Garden Center with a fine spread of food and good neighbors.  Neighbors brought their favorite dishes and shared them.  OSHNA presented Meals on Wheels with a check raised from the Home Tour proceeds and also presented former president Jeff Harmon with a plaque in appreciation for his time on the Board of Directors.

Bylaws: Asking for input on changes

OSHNA's membership passed a new set of bylaws on April 26th via mail-in ballots.  We appreciate all the hard work our committee, membership, and even our non-member neighbors put into crafting and passing our new bylaws.  However, we recognize that Article I, section 4 was controversial.  The Association would like to reach out to our community and begin dialog, as promised, on possible changes to this section.
