The Code Enforcement committee is primarily a liasion between the neighborhood association and Tampa's code enforcement department. Its primary purpose to keep our neighborhood safe, clean, and pleasant to live in or visit.
If an Old Seminole Heights resident is concerned about reporting code violations themselves, they can pass this on to OSHNA's committee. The committee will try and resolve the issue amicably with the property owner where that is feasible. If the property owner is unhelpful, the violation will be reported to the city. If requested, the committee will track the process for the resident and report back, keeping the resident effectively anonymous.
